AcDc's next move

Ballbreaker was the rawest album since FOTS but the quality was much better and the guitars were cleaner. That's why I love it.

I never knew they were pissed at Rubin. I recall an interview where I believe it was Mal and Ang, possibly Brian and they said Rubin was wacky in that he wasn't always around and kind of unpredictable but I'm pretty sure they said they liked the results. They obviously liked Big Gun otherwise they wouldn't have let him do BB.

I think it would be cool if they found some independent no name producer or something. They are always the ones that work harder to try impress everyone.

Good point.

O'Brien was an awful no-name though.

O'brien has worked with other bands that he might of thought made him more qualified and in turn not to try as hard possibly? Also there does seem to be some clipping on Black Ice, not nearly as much clipping as Death Magnetic, but there some clipping. I also think Black Ice lacks the fullness in tone AC/DC had previously had and there is definitely too much reverb for those guys to be using. I am actually surprised that Malcolm didn't use his amps on two of the songs too. Was this album recorded digital, I have heard both ways but haven't had any confirmation on if it is digital or analog, even though to me it sounds all digitally done.

Its sounds totally compressed and digital and Angus's guitar sounds digital and far too overdriven. It just sounds like a generic humbucker-equipped guitar, there is nothing in that tone that says "ANGUS".

Also, Phil's cymbals totally overpower his snare and bass drum.

as much as i'd like to seem them again and hear them...i think it'll be a long while before they tour again after this one or even put out a new cd....it took 8 years for this one and realisticly they probably won't make another album...i'm afraid and worried this might be their last....but i hope not.....if a new cd comes it'll be a live cd and probably a dvd...but there won't be any new material or tours after this....PLEASE LET ME BE WRONG!

Malcolm already said there's a new album coming.

All I want out of the new album is a fast-paced, adrenaline pumping song. Something like Let There Be Rock levels of adrenaline would make me shit myself upon hearing it! They haven't done a song like that since Blow Up Your Video. And I know they still have it in them!
